Yey! am pregnant!
After waiting for one year i was finally pregnant.I believe this is one of the best news if one was planning for it. Mid last year i discovered that i was pregnant and expecting triplets. Naturally you would expect me to be happy and over the moon but that was not the case. The first question was how was i going to take care of the three and would i be able to carry them to at least 36 weeks considering the fact that i have a petite body and i had a previous scar? This went on till week 12.
The nausia was on another level with no appetite and the only food that i ate was an omelette and Ugali. Then i came across the multiple mums group , i got to learn so many things and realised that i wasn't alone and that is how i started embracing my unborn babies. In this group there were ladies with twins, triplets and even quadruplets some even had several sets of multiples yet they had a way of coping. Different changes started to appear from rashes to loosing weight and bulging stomach.I could no longer do my daily chores due to fatigue and muscles aches, used to walk like a penguine but all that mattered was the end product which came out as a copy and paste of her father.
Having a multiple pregnancy is not an easy journey. One needs to invest in a good gynae, you need to start saving or updating your insurance because most hospitals charge per baby, you need to book a good hospital with facilities such as incubators since most multiples are born before time. After delivery you need a good paeditrician to walk the journey of raising the babies with you and a good nanny above all you need to pray God to give you the strength.
God had other plans in store for my husband and I. I delivered the three before time at 28 weeks but only one survived. I thank God for her
